FAQ

At The Layce Lab, we're all about making your journey personal and effortless, so if you have any questions just reach out!

How does the design process work?

It’s simple! Start by filling out our form to share your vision. From there, we’ll work with you to refine the details, choose fabrics, and bring your dream dress to life. Find out more details here.

Can I schedule a consultation before committing?

Yes! We offer complimentary consultations to discuss your vision, answer questions, and ensure we're the right fit for your bridal journey.

Can I customize my dress?

Absolutely! Every gown is made-to-order, so you can personalize the silhouette, fabric, neckline, sleeves, and more. If you have a specific design in mind, we’ll help tailor it to perfection.

What if I don’t know exactly what I want?

No problem! Our process is designed to be fun and stress-free. We’ll guide you through fabrics, styles, and details to help you find the perfect look.

Can I see fabric samples before ordering?

Yes! We can mail you fabric swatches so you can feel the quality before making a decision.

Can you copy a dress I’ve seen?

While we don’t create exact replicas of existing designs, we can absolutely use your inspiration as a starting point! Our goal is to craft something unique to you while incorporating the elements you love.

How do I choose the right silhouette or style?

Our design team will guide you through various styles and silhouettes, considering your body type, preferences, and wedding theme to find the perfect match.

What makes The Layce Lab different from other online stores?

We’re not a mass retailer—we’re a small Queensland boutique that offers personalised design, custom sizing, and full transparency throughout the process. It’s made just for you, not off-the-rack.

What if I change my mind after placing an order?

We understand that plans can change. If you need to make adjustments after ordering, please contact us as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate changes within our production timeline.
